An Eye for The Animal (working title)
Project status: in development.

Filmed on four continents, An Eye for The Animal (working title) examines the perils of humans’ alienation from the natural world through the lens of how we treat animals raised for food. With a cast of scientific experts and farmers, An Eye for The Animal shows for the first time how farming with animal welfare in mind enriches animal and human lives, preserves biodiversity and food sovereignty and mitigates animal farming's impact on climate change.

With eye-opening stories from farmers in Sweden to South Africa to Romania to Colombia to the United States, directors Diane Halverson and Marlene Halverson expose the myth that factory farming is the solution to feeding 8 billion people in 2024.
